Whatā€™s really striking me in this outpouring of remembrances is how old (in terms of membership here) these posts are proving to be. Some relative newcomers, but most of us are old enough to remember when SDMB was ā€œcutting edgeā€ chat space. The glimmer may have faded some by comparison with newer toys and trinkets. But we old-timers (if I may dub myself one of you ā€“ 2003) can remember when we had to do manually what there are apps to do now. Itā€™s heartening to be flooded with all these comments from the Old Guard! Bless you all! ---

I have to say that whenever I saw **Zoeā€™s** name in a thread I had to look to see what she had to say. Didnā€™t always agree but she was usually on topic, interesting and literate. The board is going to be (and has been) poorer without her voice. Sympathy to you and yours, **Zeldar**. ---

I remember **Zoe** well. We crossed swords on occasion, but i agreed with her far more often than not, and she was a valued and valuable member of the boards. Iā€™m very sorry for your loss, **Zeldar**. I never knew that the two of you were married. ---
