The son attends Catholic school. He must have interesting discussions with his teachers. I try to imagine what the nuns of St. Mary’s would have said if our family had put up a Zombie Jesus, but I can’t. The cognitive dissonance is too great. ---

People need to just chill out. If God is offended by this display, He’ll take it up with the offender. Pretty sure an omnipotent being doesn’t need a bunch of peoples running around junior modding for him. Didn’t Jesus already deliver that message? ---

Well, I’m glad the guy is just putting up zombie mangers and is not a horrible “atheist, agnostic or devil worshiper.” _sigh_ And the note was right - baby Jesus was not a zombie. Grown up crucified Jesus on the other hand … ---

I don’t care because of the God thing. But, if I lived there, I wouldn’t want to have to walk by that creepy thing all the time. I think it’s unneighborly, and it’s actually the first time I thought maybe an HOA might be a good thing. Surely creepy shit brings property values down. Yeah, I know. Freedom of speech and all that. Still doesn’t mean I have to appreciate it. It’s not FNAF bad, but I still wouldn’t like it. Make it a cute or funny zombie, and I wouldn’t care at all. ---

I wonder how the reaction would be different if the subject was a different well known prophet. I’m all for the first amendment and am all for this guy’s douchebaggery exposed for all to see. ---

The guy is a troll. If I were one of his neighbors, I would greet him with “hello dickhead!” every time I saw him for as long as he had the zombie Jesus on display. ---

Nitpick: The manger is the thing the zombie baby is sitting in. The (now roofless) structure around it is a stable. ---

The guy in the story is a practicing Christian.
