When I was in my 20s, I had a girlfriend that tried to do this to me. Boy was _that_ a close one.

While looking for info on zombie cockroaches, I stumbled across the [Dracula Ant.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dracula_Ant) It’s like the poem says:

Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly,
But insect gotta do one disgusting, horrible thing after another.

Aah, brain-control parasites. My favourite, if you could call it that, is _Leucochloridium varidae_ , the snail parasite that makes the snail climb up where birds can see it, while also swelling its eyes up to juicy, wriggling worm-like proportions, so that it can move from secondary to primary host. I’ve seen video footage of infected snails with their distended eyes waving about like desperate semaphore saying “Kill me, please!”. It is most disturbing.

_That’s_ what I was thinking of! Thanks!
