Looking at Plants vs Zombies as a guide, zombies can be quite intelligent. They can use tools and dance and perform athletics. They can even build and operate giant robots. But they aren’t smart enough to get past a few measly plants.
Some of those plants are pretty bad-ass.
Or use the front door, for that matter.
