Also, that would be rule 33 if I recall correctly. Unless you feel that singular rule is also the meaning of life, the universe, and everything else in between as well. But now we’re getting closer to Rule 34… ---

Watched it today with my son, before shambling our way to the Zombie Walk in Monroeville. Great movie, excellent popcorn fodder! There were, of course, some “suspension of disbelief” issues, such as the metnioned electricity, but overall, I loved it. Also, I don’t think it’s fair to compare this, which is more of a Zom-Com-Adventure movie than a Zom-Rom-Com, to the also excellent Shaun of the Dead. ---

Saw it yesterday and laughed my ass off! Yeah, yeah, lots of it didn’t make any sense - electricity, infinite ammo, relative sparsity of actual zombies - but hell, it was a comedy, and a good one, so all is forgiven. I’d only seen the trailer, no other promo stuff, so taglines didn’t bother me at all. Also, the fact that it started out a little more jumpy (albeit still funny) and then mellowed out in the middle sort of eased me into it being more comedy than zombie movie, so I was used to it by the time they got to BM. ---

When BM turns up, Tallahassee says “Six people left in the world; one of 'em is Bill fucking Murry!” Did I miss a mention of a sixth person? I’m shit at maths, but only counted five in total. ---

Just saw it. Very fun. I knew Bill Murray wasn’t going to make it, or he would have taken over the whole movie. Tag line did not bother me. Awseome soundtrack, very cool gunfights, a couple of things struck me as unrealistic, but who cares? ---

Finally saw this, and really loved it,much better than I was expecting. It was really more of a post apocalyptic road trip movie than a zombie flick, but I liked it better for that. I had to roll my eyes at Bill sneaking up on Columbus, very dumb move, and I’m glad they followed through with the obvious consequences. It kind of harked back to the girl’s first scam on the boys - it would have been very easy for the little girl to have gotten shot before the other one got a chance to steal the gun. I missed the origin of the place names - was it where they were from or where they were going? In either case, why didn’t the two girls have the same name? ---

The only thing that took me out of the movie and made me wince was the two of them drinking Latour from the bottle! I know it was in character, but there are some things you just shouldn’t joke about! ---

I got a chance to see it a few days ago and really enjoyed it. I thought Florida was gonna bite it though. I’ve already suggested it to a number of people, which I don’t normally do. ---

One other thing I noticed: Tallahassee handed Wichita an unloaded shotgun when she was going to “kill” her sister. He opened the weapon to check the loads, and both primers were dimpled. He would have noticed that, and never would have let Wichita get the drop on him like she did. ---
