I somehow managed to get my score up to 100.963302752294. So if anyone needs to borrow a survival percentage point, I have one to spare. For the record, the quiz ranks the choices as 1. gun 2. pipe 3. chainsaw in terms of survivability. ---

71.5%. I chose the rifle. There’s no way in hell the chainsaw will start up – the old gasoline is probably completely spoiled. The pipe would be a good option if you have good upper body strength, which I do not. So, that leaves the rifle, which could handle comfortably since I’ve done a bit of target shooting. I’d expect it to jam. But if there’s time to gas and start a chainsaw, there’s also time to break any rust that’s jamming the rifle, maybe even oil it. ---

72.something. I took the pipe, but considered the gun. Ultimately didn’t take it because of the box of old ammunition - I don’t trust it. I tried to distract the Zeds so that the nice person in the car could maybe save themselves. ---

**EvilTOJ** , nothing beats the boyfriend’s coworker, who has a room in his house stockpiled with 6 months of people and dog food (and other supplies), with a daily written breakdown of meals to ensure that the rations last as long as possible. I got a 78%, which isn’t bad for being somewhat out of shape and having very little firearm experience. In the basement, I chose the pipe (assuming that “long” means “around 6’”), because I don’t have any training in using a chainsaw or a gun as a weapon, but I _do_ have training in using a stick as a weapon. If the quiz were smart, it wouldn’t have a single rating on that question, but rather make it depend on the answer to the gun experience question. Oh, and I opted to distract the zombies away from the person trapped in the car. Even if we don’t actually end up teamed up, I figure that anyone, anywhere, trying to fight the zombies will help my situation, and if I can’t manage to outsmart a bunch of shambling corpses, I deserve to die. ---

Wow, I got a 94%. Live in the burbs, in pretty good shape, love to camp, hunt, fish, etc… I can start a fire without matches, ain’t pretty to watch but I can get it done, have multiple firearms and can shoot, ( I picked up the gun in the basement), and you in the car sorry, but with Z around its all about me right now. ---

I got 71%, though it’d go down to near zero if my glasses broke, and that wasn’t taken into consideration. The person in the car was left to die because the question stated that there were too many zombies for you to defeat, meaning that trying to save them would just mean you becoming a zombie and/or zombie dinner. ---

I got a 63%, better than I thought I would do… I then retook it while imagining myself the perfect zombie warrior, and got a 93%. I guess this is the best you can do… ---

56.65 % I’m young, but I’m a lard butt. I went with the rifle, because I thought blood spattering would splash in my eyes and I would become a zombie. ---

69.27% for me answering truthfully within the options provided. It seems living in the burbs with no guns will probably cost me when the Zombies attack. I took the pipe mainly because if I’m in a basement with one door I don’t want to call a lot of attention to myself and get swarmed by a zombie mob; better to bust a few heads and try to get to another hiding place. ---

68% and I chose the rifle (though I’m not at-all trained to use it), mainly because I don’t see myself getting into close range with zombies as a first option. This doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t grab and use the other weapons, too, but range = safety for me. 🙂 All said, I believe my ability to survive would depend more on my company, really. If I could hang with some of the 85+ percentile crowd, I’d like to say I could do it. By myself? I’d probably join the horde due to some careless oversight, lol. ---

**I got %78.6697247706422** on the [Ultimate Zombie Apocalypse Survival Quiz!](http://zomboid.com/zombie) I fancy myself pretty well prepared. I got a 94% on a very similar facebook test a few years ago. But, that was before kids. I really suspect that having two young (2yrs and 1 yr) kids would hurt my chances. They’ve got pretty much a 100% chance of survival with me as a dad. And, with nearly 80% odds, I should make it too. I went with the chainsaw as well - though I didn’t think about the smoke or noise. I was more worried about running out of ammo or getting overwhelmed by zombies trying to bash them with a pipe. ---

nope, kids had little to do with it. Retaking the quiz without them left me at 78.9% Now, substituting the gun for a chainsaw… **I got %93.5779816513761** on the [Ultimate Zombie Apocalypse Survival Quiz!](http://zomboid.com/zombie) Of course, on re-read, it just says “sounds like more than one”. I thought that meant that there was a whole horde - thus the chainsaw. If it were less than 5, the gun would make the most sense. ---

I got 76% (answering truthfully I might add 🆒). I of course picked the chainsaw: if it worked, then I’d have a load of fun piling zombie limbs at the bottom of the stairs, if it didn’t I’d still have something heavy to bludgeon with (I’m 6’3", weigh 200 lbs, and have enough upper body strength to throw around you’d see a zombie cry). I saved the person trapped in the car: (a) I’ve never ran away from a zombie fight in my life 😃 (b) I knew I had my battle ready, 5’, razor sharp katana with me 🆒, and (c) I think it was a hot chick (I may be wrong, but you always have to save the hot chick :D). ---
