As a comparison, Bill Maher once did a bit talking about how in the US everything has to make a profit. Some things shouldn’t be run with the goal of making money. Things like health care or the evening news or the military should be run for the public good, not to make a profit. Some people find the demand that everything make a profit degrading. I guess that is a metaphor. Not everything has to make a profit, and not every woman has to be fuckable. Now Fatima Bhutto, she is hot. Seriously. Wtf? He said “[require] women to dress a certain way.” No mention of burqas whatsoever. It ALSO doesn’t state that there is one universal “certain way” Islamists require women to dress. Islamist Group A can require women to dress following blahblahblah rules, Islamist Group B requires women to follow yaddayaddayadda rules, and so on. Each group is requiring women to dress “a certain way,” but the requirements can differ. ---

People from the Caucasus Mountains have always been famous for being exceptionally good-looking. I suspect this is why 18th-century racial theorist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach gave the name “Caucasian” to white people in general. He just wanted to piggyback himself and his honky peeps onto the reputation for physical beauty that Caucasus Mountain people enjoyed. I just now read that Zubeidat is not Chechen but Avar, which is another Caucasian ethnic group, from Dagestan, which borders on Chechnya. The irony is that Russians call Chechen people “black”—right, the same people who the “Caucasian” white people were named after. Dumb! ---

Zubeidat Tsarnaeva has caused me to reconsider my position on women being required to wear hajibs with full face veils. regarding the excessive bags under her eyes, if she flies American Airlines when she visits the USA this week, AA will charge her an extra $160 ($40 per additional bag) saying she has crows feet (wrinkles at corner of eyelids) is an understatement; these qualify more as pterodactyl feet. ---

Ok, whatever you may say about the woman’s actions or attractiveness, she does not look bad enough to warrant this, and I feel that making these kinds of jokes is hurtful and insulting to other women who have similar physical features.
