Zyada, pick a restaurant in Grapevine and I’ll buy you and Grace dinner. Ag, Balance, Chef, any of the other male Dopers, please join us. Any females in the area, I’ll buy your dinner, too. Just kidding, well, kinda. I really will buy the ladies dinner. It’s my birthday and I can do anything I want. And I wouldn’t mind spending it with any of y’all. I figure I’ll be tied up with the kids during the day, but in the evening, if y’all want to go eat and drink, I should be available. I know it is short notice, but it’s been a month since we’ve gotten together. Let me know if we can get something together, otherwise, next year I’ll give you more notice and expect you to be there. Hey Balance, You an amtgarder? If so, is there an event going on or just fighter practice? If not, uh… just ignore this. (or go to [http://www.amtgard.com](http://www.amtgard.com) if you’re curious.) I’m not too far away from Grapevine myself. It might be fun to swing by and meet the Dallas dopers-- too bad I am already commited for the night. ☹ Maybe next time tho. I’ll prolly enjoy it more when I’ve been around long enough to know ya better anyway. If ya’ll decide to go to the Macaroni Grill give me a review. Jim, I just spoke with Mrs. Chef and she said “why not?” She works until six on Saturday but we’re available after that. So if we can start sometime after seven to allow travel time, we’re in. Even if it’s just you, me, Zyada, and Mrs. Chef, that sounds like a party to ME. and we still haven’t heard from Grace yet - so don’t give up hope. Cheffie ---

Not amtgard, but IFGS (International Fantasy Gaming Society). We have a game Saturday, and I’m Loremastering a team with my mage.
