Warning! Do not use WinAmp to run your nuclear reactor.

Quote:
The Product is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Product could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities").
Dammit. There go my plans for next month.

Oh, no no no. You can use WinAmp while using weapons systems. You just can't use it to run your weapons system.

That still doesn't explain WinAmp's bizarre ABBA fixation.

Actually WWIII was narrowly averted when a terrorist group back in the early 90s had programmed a launch sequence. Unfortunately, what they had used was Win386, and it froze with a fatal system error. They expect to have it running again real soon now.
