Pilgrims & Indians Tale

All through school I was taught that when the Pilgrims came to what is now the United States of America, the Indians greeted welcomed them. I was even told they ALL sat down to Thanksgiving dinner together.

Color me stoopid

I actually believed that crock. Then recently I was listening to talk radio and learned the truth. The white people came to America and murdered thousands and thousands of Indians. Those left were forced onto small pieces of land (compared to what they had before). And they say this is "the land of the free and the home of the brave"? Ha!

and you just found this out...man I do feel sorry from you. im 17 and I found that out when I was about 10 it might be because of where I live...cherokee nation...cherokee tribe!
