What is the record for the longest throw of a football?

This is a question I have been wondering about for many years.

These are the cryptic results of last year's NFL Quarterback Challenge

I am assuming that the table with the column "first throw" has the yardages of each QB's throws (I didn't see the event so I don't know).

As an aside, even if nobody can answer this question for me, does anyone have an opinion on which QB has or had the strongest arm?

I'm not that old but I would go with one of the following: Terry Bradshaw, Jay Shroeder, Dave Klingler, Jeff George or Brett Favre.

There is a similar question being discussed, so I'll close this thread and direct further comments and questions to the other thread: http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/...hreadid=135127
