For once, I actually miss going to church

This morning I woke up at 5 to finish an English paper due at 11, so after my class I was burnt out and cranky. I went over to the post office to check my mail, and I got a package. It was from the 2nd-5th graders at the church I used to go to. They sent me a bunch of goodies, like snacks, pencils, post-it notes, etc. Well, it came at the perfect time since I wasn't feeling great. It made me feel so much better, and I know that people still care about me. Woohoo! I'm Wiccan, and I never liked going to my parents' Episcopal church (except when cjhoworth taught Sunday school, of course!), but the people were nice to me. I liked playing around with the kids, and I know some of them pretty well. I'm such a kid at heart (and I'm so short I can pass for a 12-year-old). Now I'm homesick, and I miss scampering around with the kids at coffee hour... *sigh*

Just had to share that. It made my day!
