Extreme Ops (my search didn't show a thread) Spoilers

I went with a friend to see this stinker of a movie last night. It looked bad but with a bunch of cool stunts. Boy was that assessment right. It was also very unintentionally funny. Can't tell you if it was because all the actors were so wooden or the dialogue was just so poorly written.

My favourite line was from the stupid girl in the rock band who reminded me of Angelina Jolie:

(rough paraphrase)"Did I tell you I was in a band? We only know like three songs but they rock. We get on stage and can play them for hours on end."

I leaned over to my friend and whispered, "I am sure it seems that way." He cracked up especially since the first scene that introduced her showed her "band" in all its awful glory.

So anyone else see this movie? It was so bad it was funny. I hope some MST3K clone does a good job of it. Hell, it could be a camp classic.

By the lack of response to this thread, I assume no one else has seen the movie.

Some of the stunts were really pretty cool though. When two of the stupid guys on the cast (they were all stupid, so it doesn't differentiate too much there) were being chased by dogs one of the guys caught a hold of a dangling rope and did a backflip gainer style to avoid them. That was pretty cool. If all of the stunts looked that good it would possibly have had a better showing but as it was it had to be put up against Die Anothe Day or whatever the current James Bond film is called.

I guess this thread will go the way Mel Odom's the Rover went. Either that or anyone else who saw it was too embarassed to admit to seeing this travesty.

I'll admit to seeing it... Hey, it was a matinee, and it was the only film showing for the nexxt hour and a half. We had to watch something.

The only thing this film had going for it over, say XXX, is the fact that everybody only did one or two things instead of one superman who did every extreme sport known to man.

But the ending! Argh!

HORK! The ending was the best. The dorky guy escapes but they still murder all the bad guys from the helicopter. It would have been better showing all the people trying to escape and eventually having the military clean it up. These people weren't fighters and it shows by the fact that they were always running.

And for those of you who wanted a spoiler tag. Tough, this movie doesn't really deserve one. :P

I saw it. Godawful. They should have had the girls do more of the lesbian stuff before evil son guy got bumped off. Ski-jump over a helicopter and throw a rope into the rotor. MmmmmmK.

Bla bla boring. Bla bla bla stupid. Bla bla ridculous. Bla blah no nudity.
