Okay, my last post got eaten, so I’m going to try again.
I saw it last night, and I have to say, it was one of the creepiest, most messed up movies I’ve ever seen. It was really well done, the acting was great, but the storyline was harsh. The entire time I was watching it was like watching a car wreck involving school children and a train in slow motion.
I remember we ran a story about it at the station I work with when it was having its big release. The main actress is from Austin, so the premier was here, and we ran a little package/interview on it. From the footage I saw, it seemed like it was a simple “Awkward girl tries to fit in” story. Boy, was I WAYYYYY off.
So, anybody else see it? What’d you think?
