Exterminator Question!
Last night I had the battle of the roach in my townhouse last night. I got up to get a drink of water and there on the cieling of my kitchen was a nasty roach!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, it was not as big as the ones I used to get in Florida, those suckers were as big as your hand, but he had to die anyway. I sprayed him with some Raid and after he fell to the floor I snuffed out his remaining life with one black stiletto heel. Now I need to call an exterminator because roaches cannot live in my house. How much is this going to cost me? Is this something a landlord should pay for?

'Round these parts (where we have giant flying roaches that will carry off the young 'uns...), you can get a one time pest control treatment for about $50. Usually the companies run coupons in the papers. I would go ahead and pay for the one time treatment and simply send the receipt to the landlord/lady with a deduction off your next rent check. (Clearing that with said landlord/lady beforehand).
Secondly, I highly recommend steel-toed Doc Martens for future impromptu roach battles! |

Ugh, I just called my landlord and he told me that they only pay for extermination for termites... Jerks...
I disagree about the Doc Martens, the heel of the stiletto went right through the little bugger. It made a disgusting, wonderful sound. |
