Or however his last name is spelled... I appreciate all the input on my Beckham question, and would like to know the opinions of the board about the -ahem- 12-year-old phenomenon.

He turned 14 a couple of weeks ago.

He's good. MLS coaches say he's good enough for the MLS. He may be the best (and youngest) player on the U.S. U-17 team. He has a real chance to make the next World Cup squad. He's being pursued by ManU. One of the big Italian teams (I forget which) offered him a million dollars a year or so ago.

And, by all accounts, he seems to have his head on straight.
