I saw Nekkid Betty White!! :-O

And she was yummy!

Nice mental image, right?

Ok, so it was a really old picture.

I was browsing a site which shows off vintage pictures of the nekkid variety. (Email me for the addy) I click on the "Famous Models" area and saw a cute, young woman (nekkid) with the caption Betty White. I couldn't find any other pictures of her from the same era, but it looks like it could really be her! Guess that sweet old lady had a somewhat sordid past! Go her!

Who exactly was Betty White besides a model? Explain a bit.. y'know.. for those of us who don't get an instant mental image of the person as soon as the name's mentioned.

(and no.. I am NOT going to go to Google)

Betty White was one of the star of the TV series "the Golden Girls" about a group of older women, and also appeared regularly on the Mary Tyler Moore show.

If I'm not mistaken, she also did a nudie scene -- maybe even a nude sex scene -- in an early exploitation flick called "5 Minutes To Love." Joe Bob Briggs has a review of the film on his site, which is where I found out about Betty's wild older days.

I'm not sure that I'd call posing nude "sordid" but then, I generally like sex and nudity and do not find them sordid in and of themselves.

Flamsterette, my advice is just to forget about this whole thread.

Because if you see a current picture of Betty White with the word, "Nekkid" in your mind . . . it ain't gonna be pretty.

Little Bird, I'm holding you responsible for my upcoming nightmares, and pointing to this thread if I ever murder my neighborhood. There's not a court in the land that will convict me, I'm sure.

At this point, I have no plans on murdering my neighborhood, mind you (although it's 12:45 AM and my next door neighbors are pretty noisy and litter into my yard...), but you have potentially pushed someone past their breaking point.

Slowly they turned....step by step....inch by inch....

According to Joe Bob Briggs, White was quite the hottie in "5 minutes". Apparently, youth does GREAT things for the body.

According to the JBB reference the girl in the 5 Minutes to Love movie was not Betty White but was Rue McClanahan

Quote:
And what I'm leading up to here is that this week we may have reached the PINNACLE of sleaze archeology.

We have one of "The Golden Girls" in her film debut, but I doubt that she puts this one on her resume.

We have Rue McClanahan in the 1965 exploitation classic "5 Minutes To Love," with our girl playing "Poochie, the girl in the shack." As the poster says, "Some called it a profession . . . she called it PLEASURE." And, yes, it IS available on video.

Rue gives a sensitive performance as the crazed nymphomaniac living in a junkyard where she's used as a "bonus" for the guys who steal cars and bring them in to Harry, the loud-mouthed gimp-legged owner, who breaks the cars down and sells the parts. Rue spends the whole movie in lingerie and bathrobes, bringing men beers and taking care of their needs. Finally, a guy named Floyd tries to save her, by saying, "All you got is outside."

"That's where it counts, isn't it?" she tells him. "That's where you can see it--the outside. It's not a bad outside, is it?"

"It's all right."

"What do you mean 'all right'?"

"Like it KNOWS HOW."

"But not nice? Nice enough to touch?"

"Some things you keep your hands off of."

"Why?"

"Why? Because it's right, that's why."

"It only takes a minute. Five minutes, that's all. Did you ever look at a clock? That's all it takes, actual time. Five minutes maybe. Then what? It's all over. There no sign left, no mark. It's all done and past. Just two people, for five minutes."

"That's all it means to you?"

"That's all it is, the real of it. If you make it anything more than that, it's your own fault. You're crazy."

And, of course, pretty soon he's all over her like feathers on a goose.

I stand corrected, then. Rue MacLanahan it is. that's the second time I've been found wrong in an error of fact this week. Which means it's been a pretty good week!

that said, we now have Rue MacLanahan in a nudie flick and a nekkid pic of Betty White. Should something nekkid on Bea Arthur turn up, we will have completed the trifecta of Golden Girl naughtiness, which will mean ... nothing, really!

People, for god's sake. She wasn't always old.

I've made a compilation DVD of all the "Family" sketches* from the Carol Burnett Show. Friend was watching some of them with me, and almost fell out of his chair when Ms. White came on screen. "Holy crap! I didn't know she used to be a babe!" And on MTM, the humor of the "Sue Ann" character was predicated on the way she was supposed to be a sweet homemaker on the show-within-the-show, while being somewhat of a vamp in real life.

*Don't roll your eyes just yet. Yes, this was the sketch that "Mama's Family" was spun off from, but it was a very cynical portrayal of a dysfunctional family, wayyyyy different from that of the syndicated series. Vicki Lawrence's portrayal of "Mama Harper" in these sketches is so much like my mom, it's scary.

Actually, Betty White is an attractive lady, for an old lady. It isn't all difficult to see that, as a young lady, she would have been very, very pretty. Rue McClanahan, too.

Agreed. Both Betty White and Rue McClanahan were very attractive and shapely starlets back in the day and would have been considered more physically attractive, naked or otherwise, than the vast majority of females.
