ever tried talking like this?

has anybody ever tried speaking like the people who do the trailers for movies that are"coming soon", you know, BIG VOICE --

stuff like -- " ADVENTURE ON THE HIGH SEAS, STARRING KIRK DOUGLAS..... AS THE PACIFIC OCEAN"

try going through a whole day like that...i did....and i get out next year.....(it helps if you have somebody willing to go with you on this one)
or any other genres? maybe like clint eastwood in westerns,or humphry bogart in the sierra madre,.. you need to do it for an extended period...am i alone on this one?

I do this! Maybe not for a whole day, though.

"Russell Crowe...IS...Master and Commander!"

Actually I think I'd be pretty good at movie trailers and other voiceovers. How does one find work at it? I've done radio before. Is that enough?

In the meantime, I'll just continue to annoy my friends and loved ones.

Reminds me of Comedy Central Presents: Pablo Fransisco...
"He sold tortillas on the corner..."

Oh yeah, all the time. And because my voice is really deep I've been told to consider doing it professionally (what do we call it - the narration industry?). It seems like a thrilling career.
