ever tried talking like this?

has anybody ever tried speaking like the people who do the trailers for movies that are"coming soon"? – - - you know, BIG VOICE —

" ADVENTURE ON THE HIGH SEAS,  STARRING KIRK DOUGLAS..... AS THE PACIFIC OCEAN"   type of thing,in everyday conversations?

try going through a whole day like that…i did…and i get out next year…(it helps if you have somebody willing to go with you on this one)
or any other genres? maybe like clint eastwood in westerns,or humphry bogart in the sierra madre,… you need to do it for an extended period…am i alone on this one?
it can be funny, and strangely compulsive once you`re “tuned in”

Around these here parts John Facenda is fondly remembered for his many years of newscasts, the NFL films and, for me, his narration of the now legendary narration for a Christmas show at a local department store[now defunct, alas]. Prithee, a little respect.
