Whatever one thought about the war, these seem like worthwhile organizations. I am preparing a care package for “iraqischools.” Pens and pencils are needed, along with everything else it seems. These charities, though I cannot vouch for any of them, seem pretty tranparent. In some cases you send the aid directly.
