I would cordially like to thank BrainGlutton for starting this thread about “white supremacy”. As expected (or at least I expected it), it has awakened some of our “friends” at SF. Our most recent guest: Franklin Philly, who has started this thread.
Note: I personally changed the URLs because I don’t want to encourage anyone to visit these guys and get another little war started again.
So we have gone in the span of a day from a reasonable discussion to our old friends come back from their temporary absence from the SDMB. Thanks, Brain Glutton, for bringing them back. Like you didn’t know it was going to happen.
The problem is that threads like this tend to lead to morons from Stormfront coming over and promoting their stupid agenda. It’s charitable to call it a debate since they don’t ever seem to present information or do anything but repeat the same bullshit every time.
Don’t we already have forbidden topics? File sharing, for instance?
Given what happened the last time this topic raised its ugly head, you would think that people would have the common sense to avoid it like the plague.
And my thread title is intentionally vague, for the purpose of getting people to look at a fine demonstration of what happens when you start talking about this topic and why it is best avoided, or if you must pursue it, go face off with the nuts over there and save our bandwidth.
I fucking HATE it when we get waves of those jackasses. It can ruin a good two weeks of Board surfing. But it’s the price I’m willing to pay for open discussions on matters of race.
I knew when I saw BG’s thread it was an open invitation for the shitheads: Hey, racists assholes! Come post your stupid shit HERE!
But I think we need to see that stupid shit. I just wish it didn’t always involve opening the floodgates.

Yeah! He was real quiet and didn’t hardly make a mess, just a couple links and a look of smug satisfaction. If we send ALL of them to the pound then I fear we’ll attract more as they try to clog up our bandwidth to spite us.

I’m always amused by Stormfront whining and complaining about The Jew keepin’ 'em down and controlling things… when their own website can’t tolerate dissenting viewpoints.
This is one of the stupidest things I ever read in my life. If you feel the topic is to be avoided, then you shouldn’t started ANY thread on the subject, and not a vaguely described one.

And since when is the SDMB afraid to debate “touchy” subjects? BrainGlutton is free to start a debate on any subject s/he wants, regardless of what idiots it attracts. And I’m ashamed that some feel that they need to admonish others for briging up certain subjects.
Revtim, for the life of me I can’t figure out why you have such a hard-on for me. Did I do something a long time ago to piss you off that you just can’t resist going after me over petty stuff? This is just another in a long line of threads where you’ve butted heads with me, and I quite simply don’t understand why.
