Sleep apnea: machinery to treat it

A Torrance physician sent me recently for tests to detect sleep apnea. The test came back positive, so he authorized me to use a special respirator-huimidifier at night. I don’t like putting this thing on, even for a short time, but that’s beside the point. I’ve had a tendency to wake up in the middle of the night, most of my life…what does this thing accomplish?

Trust me – once you get used to it, you’ll never want to sleep without it.

A side point: I have for years used an old pair of pillows that might repel others, from the way they look–they’re dingy and limp. But I put zippered liners on them, and conventional pillowcases, and they work just fine. If I try to use new, big, fluffy pillows, I wake up feeling as though I have a cold in my nose!
