The Mystery Of "The Little Prince". Author's fate becomes clearer.

Antoine de Saint-Exupery wore a sweet, gentle children’s book, The Little Prince, and then flew off in his fighter plane, to a mysterious fate in a war that cost the lives of millions.

Today, his fate is a little less mysterious.

Antoine de Saint-Exupery cannot be raised from the death, but the father of The Little Prince may rest easier…

You beat me by about 10 minutes, Bosda.

I don’t know why this news is choking me up as much as it is.

Wow. Just…wow. I love Le Petit Prince. I just reread it on Tuesday, for the umpteenth time. I have a Prince bag, watch, pins, and a mouton, that came in a box with three holes on the side (can you tell its my favourite book?) It’s such a moving, wonderful story, and I always hoped they would solve the mystery of St-Exupery’ s disappearace. He deserves better than to be lost.

It was a clear sunny day…perhaps the Prince returned, and asked him to travel with him? That’s what I want to believe, at least!

So I guess that rose has been eaten.

:frowning:

Sad, but somehow good to know. I love that book, and have many good memories of it.

Glad they finally found Saint-Ex.

I must confess, though…I never cared for The Little Prince.

*Wind, Sand, and Stars, * however, kicks ass.
