Eastwood fans: Which is the best Clint Eastwoof movie?

Which is the best Clint Eastwoof movie?

I like Outlaw Josie Wales. But I also kinda like the lighter Every Which Way but loose. I’m torn.

Which is your favorite?

The best one is definitely “The Outlaw Josey Wales.”

Among the others that I like a lot:

“Escape From Alcatraz”
“High Plains Drifter”
“In the Line of Fire”
“The Beguiled”
“The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”
Of course, I’ve enjoyed some of his lesser work (“Kelly’s Heroes” and the two orangutan movies) a lot more than I ought to.

I don’t know no Clint Eastwoof. Is he related to Benji ?

As regard Clint Eastwood, it is hard to tell. He is into so many genre I’d rather list them by that :
Comedy : Kelly’s Heroes
Western : The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
War : Heartbreak Ridge
Thriller : Play Misty For Me

Escape from Alcatraz.
In the Line of Fire.
Heartbreak Ridge.
Dirt Harry.

I don’t like westerns full stop. So I don’t like any of the Eastwood ones.

Pale Rider tops my list
Two Mules for Sister Sara is a close second (but then, I’m a chick, whaddaya gonna do? )
Outlaw Josey Wales
Dirty Harry

HAAaHAHAHAHAahHAAhaaaahAha you wrote “Clint Eastwoof”, AhaHAaHaaaaa.

Mmmm. Unforgiven. Followed by, I dunno, Pale Rider.

I also enjoyed Kelly’s Heroes.

These are Eastwoof’s best …

“The Good, The Spayed And The Ugly”
“Escape From Al-Grr-Traz”
“Un-Fur-Given”
“Space Growl-Boys”
“For A Few Collars More”
“The Bitches Of Madison County”
“Spay Misty For Me”
“In The Line Of Fur”

And this, from “Snoopy”.

In the Line of Fido.

Unforgiven, without a doubt.
The Outlaw Josey Wales would be second choice.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Dirty Harry
Unforgiven.

  1. Dirty Harry
  2. Unforgiven
  3. Heartbreak Ridge
  4. Magnum Force
  5. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
  6. Play Misty For Me
  7. In the Line of Fire
  8. The Enforcer
  9. The Outlaw Josey Wales
  10. Pale Rider
  11. For a Few Dollars More
  12. Fistful of Dollars
  13. Sudden Impact
  14. Escape From Alcatraz
  15. Hang 'em High

He was awesome in Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation

I’m sorry, never mind. I had him mixed up with Morton Downey Jr.

I have had a deep and abiding love for In the Line of Fire ever since I saw it when it first came out. It was, not coincidentally, the first John Malkovich movie I ever saw (I was 11 at the time). I have stayed at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco a few times, and they have those glass elevators outside of the building. Freaky.

Daphne Black

Tarantula

He was in it for no more than four minutes. :dubious:

These are Eastwoof’s best …

I was almost in tears when I read the list…

Don’t forget The Outlaw Josey Wags.

Anyway, I like most of his movies when he’s a cop. I don’t really care for the Westerns.

Bravo! Much better than mine.

Unforgiven

Although I did like A Perfect World (directed by Clint)

I’m torn between Dirty Harry and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. I mean, I know flicks like Unforgiven were better movies, but classic Clint was so fun.

Hmmm.

OK, on fun factor alone, TGTBATU wins by a hair.
