Please tell me that nobody actually believes this stuff....

This rather, um, interesting website came to my attention via a LiveJournal community I’m a member of.

I would be most gracious if someone would reassure me that this site doesn’t actually represent anyone’s actual opinions.

Please?

Well, it must represent the opinion of the owner.

Seriously, an attempt to incite violence and hate is vey strong. I’m just not sure who is really promoting the hate.

Sorry, no can do.

Oh, dear. I was hoping to say otherwise, but I definitely know some people who believe such nonsense.

Rosa who?
Tubman what?
etc., etc.

BTW, DON’T click on the message board link, unless you want to be scared S-less!

Now I’m going to be looking over my shoulder all day. :frowning:

: sucks thumb and huddles in corner :

Ahhh! Scary pic!

I really do hope that site is a joke, but I get the feeling it isn’t, kind of like the abortion fetish, and the AIDS chasers. :frowning:

I just spent a little time reading the message board. Basically it’s a lot of people typing LIKE THIS!!!

I have a headache. I’ll be huddled in the corner.

I was going to say find your own corner, but it maybe we it would be better if we just huddle together.
Anyone else? :stuck_out_tongue:

:smack:
Strike the first “we”.

we-we.

Why can’t people just be happy? Here’s a much better site! http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com/

I thought this pic from the site was a bit … unusual.

Apparently that sites been around for a while, but it’s so over the top it really does read like a spoof site. I wouldn’t be shocked if it turns out to be hosted by some white guy poking fun at black people.

Well, that site ranks highly on my list of insane separatist websites.

You can’t very well take a website seriously where the words DAAAAAMM and DUH appear numerous times…

The message board-WTF is that-Gollum in drag?

“Filthy hobbits, mustn’t hates us cause we’s beautiful, no precious!”

Wow, I was about to make a post saying how gullible you all are but now I’m not so sure.

According to a Whois search, the site has indeed been around since 1998; something I thought was a lie.

Now obviously, by looking at pages like this, we can infer that the site is at least somewhat tongue-in-cheek. I mean, those pictures are meant to be funny.

The site, however, is registered to one

Fake name or Nation of Islam holdout? I don’t know, but if anyone wants to call and ask him his phone number is (773) 522-8343

Warning too little too late. I was going to go to bed soon, so much for that. So much for getting sleep for the rest of the week. :frowning: That’s the most scary thing I’ve ever seen!

As for the site…the ignorant are obviously still out there.

I’m still trying to figure out if that …melted… woman picture is real or fake.

I think it’s real. I’ve seen some of the freak site pics of incredibly fat people and that’s about what they look like. Why he/she is on the sidewalk I have no clue.

I don’t know…I was thinking Crypt Keeper as he use to scare the S out of me when I was a kid.
I mean that pic startled the CRAP out of me. :frowning:

Mmm.
I was clicking through, taking it as a weird, over-the-top joke, and right after the page with the “new book” The Failure of Black Feminist Women they go on to talk about school shootings and there is a very graphic picture of the bodies of Eric Harris and Dylan Kelbold. I completely wasn’t expecting it, just thought I’d mention it so no one else was surprised like that.
