Wow, I was about to make a post saying how gullible you all are but now I'm not so sure.

According to a Whois search, the site has indeed been around since 1998; something I thought was a lie.

Now obviously, by looking at pages like this, we can infer that the site is at least somewhat tongue-in-cheek. I mean, those pictures are meant to be funny.

I think it's real. I've seen some of the freak site pics of incredibly fat people and that's about what they look like. Why he/she is on the sidewalk I have no clue.

I was clicking through, taking it as a weird, over-the-top joke, and right after the page with the "new book" The Failure of Black Feminist Women they go on to talk about school shootings and there is a very graphic picture of the bodies of Eric Harris and Dylan Kelbold. I completely wasn't expecting it, just thought I'd mention it so no one else was surprised like that.

Fake. I first saw it a few years ago in a magazine for the British advertising industry. If I remember rightly, its a sculpture done as a promo piece by an artist who specialises is weird objects for advertising photography.
