The USPTO is having a job fair at its new headquarters in Alexandria, VA, on August 5[sup]th[/sup] & 6[sup]th[/sup]. This job fair is geared towards patent examiners with a BS or advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Candidates with degrees in Computer Science must have 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have been in any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
I’m going to break my temporary posting break to let you know that Doktor Fluff has a BS in math, and is almost finished with his master’s in computer science. I’ll pass this along to him.
