Nick Nolte's Diary---Real or Fake?

Found this link through MetaFilter the other day.

Nick Nolte's Diary. Yet another celebrity blog--or is it?

They can't seem to agree whether it's fake or not. I thought I would swing this by the Straight Dope and see what your verdict is. I'm not very talented on the subject of fake celebrity diaries.

In the end, it might not really matter because it's rather entertaining.

The bird is a wonderful companion. He reminds me of one of the sets from Thin Red Line. Don't ask me to explain, diary, it's just a feeling. When he dances in his cage, it's poetry.

Or

I met a friend for coffee last night and ended up getting into a fender bender with Rosanna Arquette of all people. As I gave her my attorney's card, I made a joke about celebrities never having license plates. Then I saw she indeed did have them. I felt embarrassed but I think the scene would have worked in a film.
