Face Off - why no airtime?

In my body-swap thread the **Face Off ** movie came up, which leads me to another question my wife and I have been wondering about. Is there some reason this movie is not being played on cable the way most action pics are? For the record, I’ve never seen it, my wife has. I can count on seeing any Nicholas Cage movie on a given weekend, the same for Travolta, but Face Off doesn’t seem to be getting any airtime. What’s up with that?

It’s one of my favorite action movies so, yeah I agree. It should be on more often. I’m not sure why it isn’t. Perhaps it was on a lot after it first came out (1997, I think) and has just run it’s course? It’s not even like it’s that graphic or anything so they’d have no problem showing it.

Eyebrows 0f Doom?” Peter Gallagher, is that you?

I like Face/Off, too. I hadn’t noticed that it wasn’t shown on TV until this thread, probably because I own it and watch it every now and then. Maybe having both Travolta and Cage in the same movie is too much for the unsuspecting network viewer?

hehe, close. Hugo Weaving actually.

Sorry, Hugo, but your eyebrows got nuthin’ on Peter’s.

(Hey, that was my 500th post! Woo hoo! )
