DVD-MP3 Receiver

Hi,

I e-mailed Crutchfield and they do not carry, nor are they aware of such an item, but to me it seems obvious.

I am looking for a automotive CD/DVD receiver without a screen that is capable of reading DVD-R disks full of MP3s and playing them. It seems that there are plenty of receivers that will read DVD-R discs with DVD video on them and play it on their built-in screen or on an RCA output. These same devices are capable of playing MP3s recorded on a CD-RW disk. To me such an important feature (plays 80 hours of music off one disc) would be important to implement. Note I'm not looking for anything that plays DVD-A audio-DVDs, I just need something to read regular MP3 files off a DVD-R or DVD-RW.

I don't want to pay $800 for a unit with an LCD screen that plays DVD Video that I won't ever use. I want to pay $300-$500 for a DVD/MP3 receiver that optionally is Sirius or XM capable. Does such item not exist in the universe because most people aren't technical enough to make a DVD-R full of mp3s?

Does anybody know of such an item?
