Seeking Audio Equipment Advice

Electronically-disadvantaged and way-behind-the-times grammy seeks to update her audio system a little. I want a new home CD player – one that will also play the MP3 CDs that I am going to learn how to make. I would also like to be able to record from one CD to another CD and have pretty good sound. I don’t have to have multi-disc changers, but it must be programable and responsive to remote control. (Fast dubbing on the recording would be nice but not required.)

I have a JVC amp and a JVC cassette player but the CD player gave up the ghost.

Crutchfield Advisor might help you find what you are looking for.

I bought all of my home theater gear from Crutchfield and have never been disappointed with their pricing or customer service.

Mrs. Phlosphr and I have used Bang & Olufsen as our primary audio and video provider. The sound is second to non and the versatility across media is also second to non. They are slightly pricey, but their guarantees and quality is above industry standard.

They also have systems that will do what you are asking.
