Bohemian Rhapsody --Queen
Everything about you – Ugly Kid Joe
Tiny Dancer – Elton John
Every Rose Has It’s Thorn – Poison
Eat It – Weird Al
How about you?

“ME and Bobby McGee” - Janis Joplin
Easy to sing and easy lyrics = good karaoke song
The Cure - “Just Like Heaven”
Elvis Presley - “In the Ghetto”
Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg - “Dre Day”
Stray Cats - “Rock This Town”
And anything swingin’ and croonerific and lounge act-like, such as Harry Connick Jr., Frank Sinatra, Chris Isaak, Tony Bennett, etc.
I always enjoy
Keep your Hands to Yourself - Georgia Sattelites
Wanted (Dead or Alive) - Bon Jovi
Can Anybody Find Me Somebody to Love - Queen
Modren Love - David Bowie
I need to learn Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl) by Looking Glass a bit better; I’ve always wanted to do it, but I don’t know it solid enough to do it justice.
“Folsom Prison Blues” - Johnny Cash
“I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” - Elvis Presley
“Teddy Bear” - Elvis
“Brandy” - Looking Glass
“Jambalaya” - Hank Williams
I’m sailing a-wayyyy.
Set an open course for the virgin sea…
“Paradise by the Dashboard Light” Meatloaf (usually with a small group of inebriated friends)
“You Never Even Call Me By My Name” (Usually with a large group of inebriated friends)
I’ll second Me and Bobby McGee.
I also really appreciate DiVinyls - I Touch Myself, Tracy Bonham - Mother Mother and 4 Non Blondes - What’s Up.
With a male counterpart, I’m all about Aqua - Barbie Girl and with a group I have alot of fun with Loveshack.
Recently I’ve found that Alanis Morrisette - You Oughta Know is alot of fun to sing (read: scream and whine to a rhythm).
“Boy Named Sue” by Johnny Cash
“Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash
“In the Ghetto” by Elvis
“My Way” Frank Sinatra
“Hurts So Good” by John Cougar.
“Guitar Town” by Steve Earle.
I can rock out to either Smooth by Santana and Rob Thomas or Turn the Page by Bob Seger. You may hear a little of the Metallica influence in the later, but it’s most the original version.
For all the Bobby McGee lovers:
What do you do during the guitar solo toward the end. I always feel so gawky during instrumentals so I don’t do songs with them, but I’d love to sing Bobby McGee. Ideas? Or do you just get too drunk to care?
One time during the instrumental part of “Hurts So Good” I gave a spoken-word Tribute to America.
People were actually yelling “shut up”, but like you said, “I was too drunk to care”.
American Pie, baby.
I only do karaoke in the privacy of my own home with my daughter’s machine, but I do a mean “Delta Dawn” and “Blue Bayou”.
I also like to sing “He’s a Tramp” off her Disney Princess CD, and the Mermaid and Pocahontas songs! :o
I need your arms around me
I need to feel your touch…

Everyone always tells me how awesome it is to hear a woman sing that song. It takes an entirely different tone.
I’ve never done karaoke. But it might be fun to do Rocket Man, especially if I can pull off a good Shatner imitation.
Act Naturally… Buck Owens
TheyYYYYYYY’re gonna put me in the MOOOOovies
(You’d have to be there, it’s more of a parody, or something… I don’t do country, certainly not Buck Owens. Just something about that song.)
Rocket man would be awesome.
[Shatner]
I’m. Gonna be. High. As a kite. By then. <snip>
All this science. I. Just. Don’t understand. It’s just. My. Job. Five days. A. Week.

Well, I’ve only done karaoke once, but the ones I enjoyed doing the most were:
“American Pie” by Don McLean
“Creep” by Radiohead
And especially “Son of a Preacher Man” by Dusty Springfield. Yes, I know it’s supposed to be sung by a woman. It was a lot of fun anyway.
I like doing just about anything (except heavy metal and hip hop), and the Karaoke guy at the local Numero Uno Pizza has a hella diverse collection. Some of the ones I’ve had a good time with:
Scenes From an Italian Restaurant – Billy Joel
You Can Call Me Al – Paul Simon
Lullaby of Birdland – Mel Torme (using the Marty Paitch chart from Fongs of New York)
Crying – Roy Orbison
You Make Me Feel So Young – Frank Sinatra (Nelson Riddle chart) (or the Stewie Griffin version, which I believe is the same chart)
Dare to be Stupid – Weird Al Yankovich
The Wonder of You – Elvis Presley
