Help me ID this Lithuanian liquor

Once at a small neighborhood bar in Baltimore, I sampled a delicious liquor or liqueur (not sure which) which apparently was a house specialty. The bartender told me it was of Lithuanian origin and called “verita” (that’s phonetic, I don’t know the actual spelling). I’ve never tasted, nor heard of, it since. Can anyone tell me more about it? Where might I find some?

Make your own!

A quick Goolging on lithuanian liqueur revealed that the spelling is actually Viryta (also known as Krupnikas).

It’s actually not a liqueur but a cordial = something you whip up yourownself from hard spirits (often 190° grain alcohol) and flavorings. In this case, a boggling array of spices and a whole quart of honey.
