Why does the mailman bring mostly catalogs on Saturdays?

Is this true everywhere, or is just my mail carrier? We always get tons of catalogs on Saturdays, and not much first-class mail. How is it for you?

It is not true for me. Monday and Tuesday are my big magazine a catalog days. On Saturdays, I usually just get junk mail.
