I’d advise you to skip this movie entirely.
The nudity is quite limited, but sexual innuendo and crass comedy is rife throughout, and I can’t imagine you’d like this if you can’t stand nudity.
I have little problem with either (in its proper place) and I thought the movie was a hoot. YMMV.
I checked it out on the Celebrity Nudity Database and it’s not even listed. Enjoy.
That’s because the girls who were nude weren’t celebrities.
On the contrary, I love crass humor
We don’t mind innuendo or foul language…just nudity. We believe that those areas of a person should only be seen by that person’s SO, and for me it is very uncomfortable to see anyone naked, except my wife. Nothing else bothers me. For example, The 40-Year-Old Virgin is one of my favorite movies, but I just skip the scenes with nudity. I think it is unfortunate that our culture is so accepting of nudity in movies, but I do my best to enjoy movies that I think are good anyway.
We have heard that the Wedding Crashers is a movie we’d really enjoy, so I thought I’d try to cut out the objectionable scenes.

Thanks don’t ask, but there is most definitely nudity in the movie. I use Kids-In-Mind to check movies out, and they are always accurate.
It would appear that there are two scenes with nudity:
BTW, we aren’t bothered by shirtless men.

Huh. Go fugure.
Well, in that case, start skipping forward at the tail end of the Shout montage, toward the beginning of the movie, and you’ll be all set.
The only “bad” scene after this is one involving a topless Jane Seymour, and they do a good job of shielding her nubblies.
I forgot that one! That was a good one!
Thanks for your help. If anyone can give me DVD timestamps, that would be even better. TIA!

Sounds like what you need is Clearplay.
You have to buy a special DVD player, but they’re cheap nowadays - and after that you just download a filter for whatever DVD you want to watch and they do the skipping for you. You can set options for what sorts of things you want to filter out.
We got one of these for watching movies with our kids, and it’s one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. There are lots of movies that are fine for kids except for a few scenes that they throw in.
Actually, I was looking at that this morning. I was a little unsure about it because I had never heard about it before, but if you have one and it works well, I might consider it.

The “Shout” montage from Wedding Crashers is IMHO one of the single best pieces of film editing I have ever seen and it seems a shame to skip it simply because you briefly see some women without their tops. I can understand not wishing to see gratuitous nudity (even if I personally don’t have a problem with it) but when it has valid narritve and atristic purpose, avoiding it seems like putting drapes over the lady justice statues.
I agree, and I wouldn’t skip it entirely, just FF at the end of it, where the objectionable content was.
I was just answering a question.
Forgive me if I sound snarky, as that is definitely not my intention, but I’d be interested in hearing more about this viewpoint. Is this due to your religious beliefs? I’m having a little trouble understanding how innuendo and foul language don’t bother you, but the sight of the human body(other than your spouse’s)does. I’m not asking you to defend your choices, just respectfully asking for more info.
Mods, I know this is a major highjack, so if you feel I should just start my own thread about it, I’ll do so.
I’m interested as well. I worked in movie theatres for over a decade and this attitude isn’t as rare as some might think.
There is a semi-naked part of the film where Jane Seymor shows her breasts to Owen Wilson. You don’t get to see them but it is clear that Wilson is uncomfortable in the situation.
Hijacking again; my mother actually has the opposite opinion: nudity in films is not a problem for her (nudity as opposed to nudity plus sex acts), but foul language has her turning off the DVD immediately. I’ve never thought this was unusual (art has been showing nudes for centuries, foul language in pop culture is more recent), but I agree the opposite opinion has me respectfully curious. Could you elaborate?
Was it Clearplay that had those legality issues, what with editing films without the maker’s consent?
I doubt the users are taking any legal risk using it, but is it possible it might get shut down? That would suck for the folks who just plunked down some bucks for a subscription.
It’s not a religious viewpoint. It’s simply that I believe that the “private parts” are just that: private. I feel they should only be seen (excepting doctors and such) by someone who is (dare I say) in love with you. To me it’s no different for partaking an any kind of physical sexual contact. When I see someone else’s “areas”, I feel like I am cheating on my wife. It’s very troubling that our culture is so accepting of nudity.
Now, if we are talking about art, it’s a little different story. If the context isn’t sexual I don’t feel the same way. I don’t get bothered by watching educational films, or by looking at the statue of David. But let’s be honest: there’s no artistic reason to include naked breasts in the Wedding Crashers (or most movies for that matter), except to appeal to those who derive pleasure from seeing them.
Words are just words, and that’s not a problem for me.
Hope I’ve clarified a little bit.

That’s weird, I’d say the opposite.
IMHO, our culture (American) is not very accepting at all of nudity. As evidence, I cite the uproar over Janet Jackson’s breast as well as many other things.
