Nothin' goes together like LSD and Rocket Launchers.

When I opened the video I thought it was gooing to be something horrible, like those old CIA experiments. But the guys were out in the woods and having a good time, except for that one dude, who seemed to be having a bad trip.

I liked the guy who climbed the tree to talk to the birds.

That was pretty wild. I wonder what they thought the military use would be.

LSD would probably make a pretty good interrogation drug. No long lasting effects and just get the person talking and they might start babbling. Probably a lot more effective than torture and definitely more humane.

Maybe they thought the could spike the enemy food/water supply.

Thanks for the Link.

Wonderful. Complete with the old "Mr. Cholmondely-Warner" style of commentary,

As for military use, well, if you could somehow give to the chappies on the enemy side, and have them bumbling around giggling and feeding the birds, bit of a walkover, what?

I'm wondering, though, whether these guys were properly informed*about what it was they were taking. And taking the rocket launchers or whatever along might just have turned out badly, which would, of course have been no trouble at all, merely time for a little bit of a cover-up.

* Of course, I've jsut rememberd that at that period, our currency was called L.S.D .

Now if we hadn't already (long ago) had that whole "Dad's Army" television comedy thingy, this clip could have inspired something similar, and probably funnier. The Queen's Own Merry Pranksters". "The Highland Oooh-look- at-the-pretty-Lights Infantry". "51st Acid Divisison".
