"First animation" video?
I just ran across this story from 2004, which says:
Quote:
Can anybody steer me to a source for the animation?

Not exactly HDTV, but I think for the number of images in the animation, an animated .gif should at least give you an idea of what it's about.

It reminds me of an early cartoon that could have been done in the early 1900s, or someone's first Flash animation. You could call it Gary the Goat Eats a Plant. I have this image in my head of a bunch of ancient Iranian cartoons engraved on urns.

It would be nice if the modern folks who "animated" it used the full "frames" from the vase instead of fudging it a bit by isolating the animal and reusing the plants and rules from one panel for each frame. So what if the leaves wiggle?

Thanks, Larry! I agree the full .avi would be better, but the .gif is pretty good anyway. I'll search some more today - it was late and I was tired, so I just left it in your capable hands.
