Anyone want to see some baby Bearded Dragons?

Yes, this is the same bunch I posted about months ago, promised to post photos of the eggs and then promptly forgot about. Unfortunately, the egg photos are on a memory card that I lost but I hope these baby photos will make up for them.

We ended up with 9, raised them for 8 weeks and sold them today. We kept 2 of them, Guts–who has a birth defect and Little Bit, who is the runt of the group.

The big, fat lazy-looking lizards are the parents.

Babies!

Awww. Now I miss mine. Leviathan was always fun to have scamper about the room.

Yeah, I never realized beardies were capable of scampering until I had some small ones. My older pair just sort of lumber. Unless there’s a cricket or a superworm visible–then they lumber a little faster. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m a big reptile fan. Thanks for the pics.

I think it must have been pretty awesome actually getting them to hatch!

They are absolutely gorgeous!

Too cool!

Awwwwww! So cute! Thanks. Get sick of damn cats all the time, cute as they are. Nice to see something different.

Are those native to the US?

Growing up in Australia, i used to catch bearded dragons in the bush behind our house, but i always assumed they were peculiar to Australia.

My youngest son got this guy last yule, I should probably take new pictures since s/he’s grown a bit since then…

Spied a cricket

Greywolf73, those are some real cuties. I’m impressed.

mhendo, they are not native to the States. My state, at least, is pretty cranky about keeping native critters as pets. They don’t care so much about exotics, as long as they aren’t released into the wild.
