This story made my day. This guy just fucked with the wrong angel of mercy.
Dang. That’s one nurse you fuck with at your own peril. She musta been one of those people astro was **complaining about.
[pathetic nitpick]
The evil nurse from “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” was actually named Nurse Ratched

::struggles to escape the clutches of wet blanket, but in vain; thread succumbs::
'You sure it wasn’t Ratshit? And she wasn’t evil, just misguided.
And now, back to our story. Chefguy Would that make her a Hell’s Angel of mercy? Oh, and I’d keep my voice down when calling her an angel of mercy, I’ve been known to threaten lives for being called that.
Great story, it made my day. I’ve known a few ER nurses who could stop breath with just a look. They are a breed unto themselves.
I thought it was Rachet, from Porky’s.
Anyways, good on her! This quote is so like the archetypical head nurse: “You didn’t need to calm her. She’s an emergency room nurse. She’s used to dealing with crisis.”
Hey, after a twelve hour shift in the ER with no food, no drink, and no bathroom break, sometimes I feel like strangling someone too.
My coworkers and I were in awe of this woman when we heard about this. Good for her for being able to defend herself.
Great story. It gives me something to aspire to.
I’m in awe of this person. It takes a lot of strength to strangle someone who is kicking and punching and trying to survive. Since he was no small guy, I’m assuming she got behind him somehow, got her 260 pounds on him and got an arm around his neck.
Actually, when you think about it, you have to start asking yourself if she’s been strangling people routinely at the job.
I have known a couple of 3rd shift barmaids like that. I saw Shirley pick up one unruly bruiser by the throat and hold him against a post while she gave him a piece of her mind. Then she carried him to the door and threw him out. Shirley’s glare would make strong men cringe.
Interesting Google ads at the bottom for ratchet straps.
In addition to ending sentences with non-prepositions.
Yes, such shenanegins are something up with which we will not put.
Oh no, I don’t insist on stilted, obsolete, not-quite-ever-a-real-rule grammar rules.
If you liked that story, you will love this one. 357 involved.

Man! I can’t wait to see the “ripped from the headlines” Law & Order they make out of this one…
mm
Ahhh…I just love a story with a happy ending.
In the play, she is known as ‘Big Nurse’.

I’m going to have to disagree, Rached was EVIL!
