I had a "Hi Opal" moment!

This past week at work, I was reviewing documentation for the software system that we're developing.

The installation instructions for one module included this gem:

Before you install this module, first gather the following items:
1. The CD containing this software module.

That's it -- only one item on the list.

I was SO tempted to force a second item onto the list, just so I could add "3. Hi Opal!" But I figured that the customer wouldn't understand the joke, and such jokes are better shared among people who know them.
