Stewart/Colbert '08 -- Who's with me?!

I am the first in my neighborhood to display a Stewart/Colbert '08 bumpersticker; I opted for

Stewart/Colbert '08
Godfearing Men in Nicely Tailored Suits

I wouldn't display an American flag, even in jest, so luckily that one has a vague wavy line thing going on. I also have "Stewart/Colbert '08: They're Funny On Purpose" as a backup in case this one gets worn out or defaced.

If I allowed my car to wear bumper stickers, I'd be all over it!

I wonder if Colbert should be on top of the ticket. This country might not be ready for a Jewish comedian President. But they'd get my vote. It's time we got a team into office that's a good joke.

I may (inexplicably) be unable to vote for them, but I really want one of those stickers nonetheless.

Hey, Bush is descended from William the Conqueror, who was a French bastard. In both meanings of the word. And there's George Allen. I think Colbert is also of Norman descent; it's barely French. And anyway, at least the French believe in Jesus.

Come to think of it, given that a guy with a French name and a Jew would both have no chance, I almost wonder if the Democrats will nominate this pair.

I'd vote, but only if it was Colbert/Stewart.

I'd vote, but only if Christopher Walken doesn't run.

Tuckerfan, same here. If Walken ran, he'd have my vote. Bush has shown me how important the song and dance is, and we all know that those are Walken's specialties.

Seriously, I think they'd do a better job. Hell, it would be a breath of fresh air.

And some dweebs are hot--these guys aren't dweebs; they're uber-nerds. Yum...

Both of them do a good job of making fun of politicians, but if elected they would find it's a LOT harder than they though. It's easy to criticize, hard to please everyone.

I think the campaign posters would have to include the picture of Colbert doing that goofy, smiling and pointing at "my Jewish friend" thing with the arms folded, irritated looking Jon Stewart.

If you go to cafepress.com and search on Colbert or Stewart. Cafe press is the source for all things fun and goofy. On T-shirts and stickers anyway.

Did you see last night where Colbert "tricked" Jon into calling 1-888-OOPS-JEW and they showed the picture whereof you speak?

Yeah...Martha Stewart would be a great President! With just one icey glance, she could instill fear in our enemies and then turn around and create a nice centerpiece for the negotiating table and...

what?

Oh, THAT Stewart...never mind.

There's no way I'm seeing that thing, but since I first saw the ads, I've been wondering if the plot was inspired if the writer thought of the plot after reading some magazine article about Jon Stewart.
