Yoko Ono’s chauffeur has been arrested on suspicion of extortion for threatening to distribute embarassing photos and audio recordings of her and her son.
I undertand the trauma this sort of thing likely caused the Ono-Lennon family, but is there anyone out there who, on hearing about the possible release of embarassing recordings by Yoko Ono didn’t think:
Oh God! They’re talking about re-releasing her albums! :eek:
Bingo! That’s exactly what I thought!
Actually my first thought was “but, she already released that film of her & John making love, and that record cover, and a number of avant garde exhibitions that involved her being naked, so… what *haven’t *we seen?”
Then I read that he threatened to murder her & sean and that’s just not cool at all. That’s way beyond an extortion attempt.
Can you imagine the poor cops who have to listen to EVERY SINGLE SECOND of the recordings for investigation purposes?
“Hmmm, another detective has asked to be reassigned to the kiddie porn squad, sir.”
“Same reason?”
“Yeah, apparently it’s less horrifying than the Ono case.”
Ono has done her worst: I’ve heard Starpeace. I no longer fear death.
