Alabamans explain jeff Sessions

Alabamans please explain Jeff Sessions to me. I only see him on cspan and watch his speeches on tv. He does not speak very well. He is an unemotional droner.
He is a Bush lapdog in my opinion. When he argues every time that the Bush apointee is the best qualified person in the country for the job every time. He even did it for Harriet Meyers. Does he never say no to the administration.
If he is a star in Alabama and provides all kinds of money and programs to them I am unaware. If not, what gets him elected.?

He panders to the right-wing, moneyed, "family-values" electorate, and gets elected.

He's a total Republican yes-man. Can't stand him.

Well, he is completely at odds with Bush and a lot of Republicans on immigration. He is one of the most strident opponents of illegal immigration and our need to deal with it. Specifically, he is opposed to the Bush "amnesty-light" idea. Very much to his credit, I might add.

But he does seem to drone on rather than orate.
