As long as I’m stuck at work with name that book going on, I’ll throw in this as well: name that ship!
Below is a list of ships— both seafaring and spacefaring — from movies, books, comics, television, and … well, from all over the place. Can you name what piece of fiction the ship is associated with? For a bonus, is it a seagoing vessel or a starship?

Pequod - Moby Dick. Seaship. Also the name of the Outsiders transport in the DC universe.
Kobayashi Maru - Star Trek. Starship. I don’t think it exists outside the KM test.
Yamato - This is the trick. It’s both a real warship from the Japanese navy, circa WWII, and a fictional starship built around the remains of the real ship in Space Battleship Yamato. And, as a further twist, I believe there is a starship, probably Galaxy Class, in the Star Trek universe by the same name.
SDF Macross - From Macross/Robotech. Starship. Although it also has two standard aircraft carriers attached.

Yes, the USS Grissom is indeed a spaceship; no, it isn’t from CSI: Neptune. And the Cavorite Sphere is indeed a Victorian-era spacecraft, but whose?
And does the Aubrey-Maturin “Indomitable” predate 1891?
