In the world of remote possibilities, anyone recognize this photo?

I swiped this photo off the web at some point to use as a desktop background. I remember posting a note where ever I’d found it asking about the photographer, but promptly forgot about it, didn’t bookmark it, and never checked back to see if I’d gotten a reply. I found it in a random google search for something different, and now searching any applicable terms isn’t bringing the photo up again.
I really love this picture. I remember a caption saying he’d taken it while wandering around Ireland and spotted the horse from the road, but that’s pretty much all. I do remember that the time I couldn’t find a name or contact information on the page.

Anybody happen to recognize it? I would love to find out who the photographer was so I can buy a print.

Krystian Kozerawski

ETA: If you go to the “ABOUT” link at the top of the page, it will bring you to his profile, and his email is on there.

Holy buckets, that was quick! How’d you find it?

Believe it or not, Googled on “Irish horse” and went to the images page. It was the first image returned.

“Shire horse” (which is in the Properties of the photo) also brings it up, but **Jay Jay ** wins!

D’oh. I remembered it being captioned as a Shire, even though the color markings indicate a Gypsy* Horse or Drum Horse background. I kept searching permutations of Shire-- shire horse, grey shire, gray shire, gray shire horse and so on. Does this mean I lose my Google license?

*I’m aware of “Gypsy” being non-pc but have never heard piebald draft horses called anything else.

Also, you can see the guy’s name at the bottom right of the picture…

Okay, okay, so I’m an idiot

My only excuse for that one is that it’s hidden by my taskbar.

Err, I just tried to PM the mods to request the thread be closed and I got this message:

So, yeah. Would some mod-type take pity on me? My stunning ineptitude is being highlighted in new and fascinating ways with every post. Thanks :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey, Naja, don’t beat yourself up. I’d never seen that great photo. Thanks for that!

Pity taken. Thread closed.
