We all knew it was coming, of course. But there were tiny slivers of hope that Lyn might come to her senses.

It’s a FBOFW FUBAR.
I hate that comic strip.
Someone here posted a link to a parody strip – it featured a housefire that injured or killed most of the main characters, and did an outstanding job with the strip’s cliches (ex.: April announces that she’s bleeding, at is yelled at for whining/being selfish). Anyone have a link to that?
To quote a favorite character from an old favorite strip:
Bill the Cat: “Ack Ack gag Barf”
I will always have a soft spot for FBOW b/c of the whole death of Farley sequence that made me bawl and one or two other strips that I just thought were wonderful. She shoulda retired before this…abomination it’s turned into.
I love how it comes about. It’s like they both know that some nameless, omnipotent, malevolent entity (Hi, Lynn!) is drawing them inevitably toward it like pieces on a really lousy chessboard.
All of you be darned. FBOFW rocks.
I love how neither Liz nor Anthony has said the word “love.” “We like each other.” “We’d make good partners.” “We’ve always been friends; we’ll always BE friends.” You’d think it was one of those deals where they, at 19, agreed to marry each other if they hadn’t found their soulmate by 27. Implying that neither of them is the other’s soulmate; it’s just “You’ll do.”
BTW, Francie (Anthony’s daughter) was born in March of 2005. That makes her three. There has not been a time jump.
Their pillow talk MUST be passionate:
Anthony: You know, I’ve always enjoyed getting blowjobs.
Elizabeth: And I’ve always liked giving them!
Anthony: Do you think maybe we could discuss the possibility of you giving me a blowjob?
Elizabeth: I’d like that very much.
Today Liz looks completely mild about the idea of ever getting married - but getting a ring inspires her to passion, apparently. And the last panel makes me wonder if Liz has slipped back to the '50s.
…Ooooh.
You think it’s too much to hope for that Elizabeth’ll become a runaway bride at the last moment?
Pffft. Ellie would activate her heretofore hidden T-1000 tracking skills and bring her back to face a life as she’s been programmed to live.
