A few thoughts –

In the Whoosh bracket, the clear victories of Zoom and Sizzle over Twang and Jangle make it clear that the “z” sound of the consonant trumps the vowel-consonant “ang” combination. It will be interesting to see how the pithiness of Zoom does against the double sibilant of Sizzle.

In the Squee bracket, the slightly sinister sounds of laughter, Snicker and Cackle, were the clear winners over the more pathetic Whimper and less assertive Murmur. Interesting.

Thunk, which I mistakenly put in twice in the first round, continues its strong showing – but is up against Boing now, and Boing took this round unanimously.
