One thing I learned from the first round is there are all kinds of musical tastes among our members…the only exception being the barrel organ. I was sad to see accordion and carillon both go down, as I learned to play both of them and carillon just might be the biggest musical instrument there is (what do you think the leaning tower of Pisa is?). I also regret not including the Alp Horn, which is another personal favorite of mine which totally slipped my mind when I was writing this.
Okay, round 2, go. Ends Friday night at 9PM EDT.

It’s too bad the Harmonica has such tuff competition this round I was hoping to see in go deep into the tournament. Besides that all easy picks this round.
I said there were a lot of easy ones in the first round - but the end result is that this round is great. There are a lot of painful choices here. How the hell am I supposed to choose between a pipe organ (the only kind of instrument I’ve ever walked in) and a B3?

I was going to say the same thing, but it turns out that ukelele is an acceptable variant in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. I always hear Don Ho pronouncing the word “u-ku-le-le” when I type it.
