Musical Instrument Madness Round Four

Some real heartbreakers in round 3. Many of my primary instruments were knocked out (and all you clarinet lovers can just DIE already), and I had to cast the deciding vote for Trumpet vs Sax, which was a brutal battle. This round will be voting for king of the categorization! It’s also gonna be the brass vs reed (although that happened in round 3 as well), chromatic percussion vs drum, classical string vs modern string, and piano players vs guitarists AND electronic vs acoustic-mechanical round! I’m also feeling good about the seeding I selected, since nothing below 3 is left.

You can vote up through Saturday afternoon, since I’m not gonna be around Friday night to tally.

I’m a bit disappointed French Horn didn’t make it, I think it’s a much more interesting instrument than either trumpet or clarinet, but it was inevitable, I guess. I’m not really bothered about the first two categories; I hope the final is between the last two. Glad 'cello stayed, it’s one of my instruments.

Sounds like a band I’d like to be in. Scoring for it would be fun, anyway.
