Are 24 business and stock market channels common outside the US?

In the United States, there are three business channels which have non stop coverage of the financial markets: CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business News. Are these types of stations common and popular outside the United States? Sure, CNBC has CNBC World which provides international business news. Bloomberg also has some international coverage. But, is it common to be sitting in the UK, Australia, China, or Japan and see someone watching a stock market channel 12 hours a day?

CNBC and Bloomberg are on Sky in the UK, in slightly modified international versions - there's no homegrown equivalents. (Edit: I've never heard of anyone watching them, but then I don't know a lot of rich people.)

They're available in Australia if you subscribe to pay television. I wouldn't think they draw a huge audience.

They are very common watching in the United States. Jim Cramer is huge. I work in the industry so M-F I probably watch at least ten hours as day. I have clients who watch 24 hours per day.

I agree that watching this stuff is common. My retired middle-class parents have CNBC on all day.
