PC Keyboard gone wonky!

PC, USB connection to keyboard, Windows XP Home.

The cluster of keys (Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down) and the arrow keys as well as the backspace key have stopped working! All other keys work well.

Device manager shows nothing amiss. Bought a new keyboard and it does the same thing.

Ideas? Thanks for any help.

Try a different USB port.
Reinstall the driver.
